NATO Membership Path for Ukraine

Secure Ukraine's long-term Euro-Atlantic integration

Overview

A credible NATO membership pathway is the most durable security guarantee for Ukraine and the most effective deterrent against future Russian aggression. We urge Congress to pass resolutions supporting Ukraine's NATO accession and to pressure the Administration to provide a concrete timeline and interim security guarantees.

Your Ask

Ask your senators to co-sponsor resolutions supporting Ukraine's NATO membership path and urge the Administration to issue formal interim security commitments.

Why It Matters

Without a credible security guarantee, any ceasefire risks becoming a pause before the next Russian offensive. NATO membership is the only proven deterrent.

Current Status

NATO allies agreed in principle at the 2023 Vilnius summit but stopped short of a formal invitation. The 2024 Washington summit reaffirmed the path without a timeline. Congressional resolutions supporting NATO membership are pending.
